Apple® Aperture® 3 Course One
‘In Apple Aperture 3 explore the brushes and tools and learn to create.'
Who is the course for? Photographers who would like to start learning to use Apple Aperture 3 creatively. You will have some experience with the software and have used some of the tools and brushes. You will need to understand how to use your operating system on either a Mac or PC and know where you store your images on your hard drive. You will need to bring your own computer, either an Apple Mac Pro, iMac, MacBook and Macbook Pro. We will supply you with images and notes to work on, but do bring along some of your own images. The learning We will introduce the brushes a tool that will help you to dodge and burn selective areas of your image. This tool also can be used on most of the other functions in Aperture 3 so that you can selectively alter specific areas of your images. You wiill learn to adjust certain parts of the image with either colour or tonal adjustments, such as a increasing the colour of the Brides flowers or bring back detail in her dress! Aperture 3 provides you with great RAW file conversion and adjustment tools and we will show you how best to use these to create final images ready for print straight from Aperture or in conjunction with Adobe Photoshop. Aim To give you the ability to use Apple Aperture 3 to understand where the tools and menus are, the terminology and for you to have confidence to create your own images.
