A mid week beginners photography course for Parents

Who is the course for?

A beginners photography course for parents who are busy with the family at the week end.  The course will be held during the school day in term time, allowing you to learn whilst your children are school.

This is a beginners photography course and you will taught how use the aperture, shutter speeds, ISO and colour balance.  These skills will be demonstrated so that you will able to use them after the course and start your learning process.  Everyone attending this workshop will be new to DSLR photography and will have similar experience and kit to you. Designed to enable you to progress to the next level in photography this is the perfect place to start.

The learning environment

A beginners photography course to learn how to photograph and understand your camera. Learn how to photograph your children, families at home or on holiday. This course is ideal for parents who would love to know how to use their cameras and photography whilst having more fun!  Learning to do this will take the stress away and allow you get on with creating your images.

Aim of the course

You need very little photography experience but must be able to operate your camera at a basic level.  We will be focusing on making it a fun session, using available light and creating pleasing compositions.  If you feel you need a 1-2-1 session on the basics of using your camera before attending the day please contact us for further information.

Other Courses

For complete beginners the 1-2-1 one hour training sessions for only £50 are useful as pre-course introductions to your camera and we will explain the various numbers, buttons and menus on the camera so that when you attend the course you will have gained some experience using your camera and benefit further from the course.  You should arrange a time to come to the studio before your course.
