MelenCourses Photography Foundation Course Beginners guide to learning photography. Who is the course for? The aim of the MelenCourses Foundation Photography Course is to provide you with a start in photography. During the four months you will gain confidence in using your camera, your computer and post production software.
On completing the course you will be confident and capable of using your camera, photography techniques and basic post production, Adobe Photoshop Elements and Adobe Lightroom or Apple Aperture. There are Projects which are a great vehicle to practise new ideas, create portfolios and to establish your photographic style.
You will be expected to Practise your photography for about four hours each week and allocate about two hours for photography theory each week. As part of MelenCourses Photography Foundation you have Other Courses There are other courses provided by MelenCourses with are not included in the diploma which you may attend such as the National Trust Photography days, the Free Photography ‘Days Out’, our workshops and seminars.
Places available for 2013 and the course is payable in monthly installments over 4 months with an initial deposit, please ask for details. Level Equipment Needed DSLR, lenses covering at least 18-135mm, computer, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Lightroom or Apple Aperture 3, cards and spare batteries. Wireless transmitters or receivers, a decent tripod and a monopod would be useful. If you don't have any of the equipment you are able to use the equipment in the studio, to complete the course you will need to purchase your own. |
