DSLR Night & Low Light Photography Course
Night time flash and natural lighting

''This amazing session looks at working in low light level photography and will leave you amazed at the results you will achieve.'

Using Speedlite flashes, torches and the ambient light learn how to create fantastic images.  We will show you how to use your flash but if you have some knowledge of your flash that will help.
The studio is based on an old farm which provides excellent locations for low light and night time photography.  You do not need to have expensive equipment to produce professional looking images that will leave your clients or friends and family impressed.

Learn how to get great images from indoor events and parties using only your flashgun and the available light.  You will explore the techniques for photographing the moon and fireworks and using filters to control the exposure in the sky you will take fantastic dusk photographs and see the amazing colours that you can produce. We will use TTL cables and wireless transmitters (Pocket Wizards) to give up more control and flexibility with the Speedlights.  There are fun shots to take such as writing words and drawing shapes, but why not use the torches and flashguns with colours gels to paint subjects with light?  Finally we will compose portraits using the flashguns combined with long exposures to create stunning images.

You will need a good level of photographic experience with some understanding of your flash, although no flash experience is necessary.

Equipment Needed
DSLR, lenses covering at least 18-200mm, flashgun, TTL cable,torch cards and spare batteries.  If you have your own wireless transmitter or Pocket Wizard bring that along.
