Would you love to begin photographing weddings? It can be daunting when starting out in wedding photography, even if you have taken a few friends and family weddings taking the next step and getting paid is big responsibility. The MelenCourses Wedding Photography Course will show you how to take professional, creative wedding photographs simply and quickly. You will learn how to promote yourself as a wedding photographer, look at producing wedding albums and books and help you to set up your wedding photography business.
The Wedding Photography Course is based at Ashridge the beautiful period building near to Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire with easy access and plenty of parking. We will help you to alleviate your concerns and provide you with the skills to start taking beautiful wedding images. You will need know your camera, flash and have good DSLR photography skills. We will show you how to take stunning images simply and creatively, producing situations for you to create informal candids, posed and also groups photographs.
We will start the day by looking at the kit that we use and finding suitable locations for photography at a wedding venue. Then you will learn the techniques to help you capture the details at a wedding. Before lunch there is a chance to see the albums we use, then view your advertising and pricing strategy. After lunch we provide you with simple and effective ways to artwork your images with Aperture and Adobe Photoshop before photographing the Bride and Groom.

Equipment Needed
DSLR, lenses covering at least 18-200mm, flash gun (strobe), cards and spare batteries.
A TTL cable or wireless receivers, and a monopod or tripod would be useful.
