Beginners photography course helping to start using your camera.
This could be your first photography course and is ideal for inexperienced photographers as the session will de-mystify your camera with clear, simple exercises. You can use any camera from a DSLR, Mirroless, Hybrid, or a Compact camera and mprove your photography learning a few simple 'tips' to take more creative pictures.
Over the two hours you will understand how to use the camera and take interesting pictures. You will still use some of the cameras automatic functions as this will help you to get a feel of the camera and feel confident in using it. We will show you how the camera works and the important controls, using natural light and how to take nice pictures.

Any digital camera is suitable for this course: DSLR, CSC, Mirrorless, Hyrbrid and most compacts.
Any lens you have will suitable.
Cards & Batteries
Please make sure you have a clean card and fully charged batteries, spares are handy.

Costs are incurred when we run our training courses and for this reason we are unable to offer any refund in the event of your non-attendance on the day of the course you have purchased. This is irrespective of your circumstances or reasons. If we receive notice one month before the date of your course that you unable to attend and we are able to fill your place then we will issue a credit note for an alternative course. If you are unable to attend with six months of the course date we will issue no further credit notes.
We reserve the right to remove, cancel or alter the date of any of our training courses, we will inform you of alternative dates and depending on the circumstances of the cancellation issue a full refund or credit note for a similar course.
If the course is cancelled due to extreme weather conditions we will offer another date for the course or a credit note for a similar course.
All vouchers much be used with in 12 months of the date of purchase. Vouchers can be used to contribute to part or full payment of a course or 1:1 session.
Although every care will be provided by YellowMelen and Philip Richardson, no responsibility will be accepted for any indirect loss or damage caused to your equipment. As the client you will need adequate insurance against the loss or damage of your equipment.
You will need to provide your own food on the training days as MelenCourses does not offer this facility. When we are on location there will be a break for lunch near cafes and restaurants and you are more than welcome to bring your own food.
